Hi, I'm Andreas. AI engineer in Stockholm, Sweden. I’m fascinated by AI, QA, and cybersecurity, and sometimes I build things I wish existed.

/about me

The early days

My journey into technology began early. As a teenager, I was managing online gaming communities with 200–300 daily active players, and later hosted my own game servers that generated some revenue. What started as community management quickly became a technical challenge that involved running Ubuntu on a dedicated server, fixing server issues, building websites and forums through FTP, and teaching myself the basics of HTML, CSS, Java, and SQL. Those early experiences showed me how technology can bring people together and laid the foundation for my future career in tech.

/education

Master's specialization in Secure Systems, with focus areas in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, software security, and quality assurance.

Conducted in collaboration with Saab Aeronautics and the Tactical Environment Simulation (TES) section. The thesis explores AI-driven automation of GUI testing by combining visual input and natural-language instructions, with a focus on software testing and experimental evaluation in an industrial environment.

Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) applied to social matching, evaluating system performance and privacy trade-offs using Mixnet for anonymous communication and Solid Pods for decentralized data storage.

Relevant coursework: Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Concurrent Programming and Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Database Technology, Advanced Web Programming, Information Security, Software Design and Construction, Software Testing, Ethical Hacking, Ethical Issues in AI.

Completed with distinction in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (GPA 4.6 / 5.0), earning guaranteed admission to any engineering specialization.

/experience

Competed at the highest level of competitive Counter-Strike, qualifying for the Faceit Pro League (FPL), a closed in-house environment with tier-1 professional players from top international organizations (e.g. Fnatic, Vitality) and monthly ~$20,000 prize-pool circuits.

Earned by finishing top 100 globally in Faceit monthly rankings (season 29).

Won by placing top 3 in a 3-day qualifier contested exclusively among the global top 100 players and other invited semi-professional players (season 29).

Reached a peak overall ranking of #387 globally, placing in the top 0.01% of players.Read more about it here.

As a sales assistant at Kjell, you get to do much more than the traditional role of a salesperson. At Kjell, they encourage you to find innovative and helpful solutions tailored to each customer, consistently exceeding expectations. This type of work ethic aligns perfectly with the charm of programming and problem solving in general.

Promoted to staff manager after just one month at MAX. The role included full responsibility for overseeing all aspects of staffing and operations for the entire restaurant. I gained significant experience in operational management and administrative tasks.

Selected as part of the company’s “Dreamteam” in early 2017, recognizing my performance and rapid development within the company as a staff manager in the Solna district.
